WHY WOULD YOU CHOOSE HEALTH IN A BAG?
Our hand-packed Health in a Bag ingredients are hand-milled and stringently sourced as a whole product so that they are free of contaminants that are transferred during production processes.
We use sugar that is minerally and nutritionally rich as it is not over processed like most refined sugars used in other products and therefore doesn’t overload our bodies. Refined foods remove about 75% potassium and depletes the body’s stores of potassium.
We use aluminium free baking powder which provides a balance of sodium and potassium.
These stabilise the body’s water and acid/alkaline balance and help the nerves and muscles to function properly.
Omega 3 seed
Flaxseeds (omega 3 seed) contain alpha-linolenic acid, an omega-3 fat that is converted into EPA and anti-inflammatory eicosanoids in the body. A study of healthy people showed that taking flaxseed provides alpha-linolenic acid which reduces inflammation in blood vessel linings that increases the risk of heart disease.

We know where our grain, seeds and herbs are being farmed.
All the allergens are not present in the foods.

We only freshly mill the grain for the orders as we receive them.
Hand-milling provides us with a far superior, tasty and nutritional product.
Unprocessed grains are an excellent source of niacin said to help with depression and they contain the freshest types of natural oil.
Organic and Preservative Free
When we choose to eat organic food it is not just about looking after ourselves, but also about how the food is grown and handled. Because everything is linked including soil, plants, animals, food, people and the environment, we are also choosing to care for our planet. That’s why Health in a Bag uses cellophane for the inner bag to prevent risk of contamination to our chemical free product. It’s made of regenerated cellulose, 100% biodegradable and a natural product made from a component of trees and plants.
